Browser storage and its lifetime

Signed-out practice records, device-only Practice Planner plans and account-use isolation markers use localStorage. These persistent device records have no automatic time-based expiry. They remain until changed or removed through the relevant product controls, manually removed from browser storage, or removed by the browser, subject to storage availability. Product controls can leave an empty coordination record rather than removing every entry.

sessionStorage holds the selected profile, tab account-context markers and pending account/profile changes for the browser tab session. Acknowledged changes leave the pending queue; confirmed discard removes that queue. Offline, conflict or interrupted-access changes may remain queued in that tab session. Browser restore behavior can retain a tab session. Signed-in working lesson values also live in tab memory; closing or reloading the document ends that in-memory copy, while cloud records and saved device copies can remain. Closing a tab or signing out does not erase all persistent device or cloud records.

Provider processing locations

Cloudflare and Google operate internationally. Information processed for hosting, security and privacy-request email may be processed outside the United States. Cloudflare Web Analytics measurements, where enabled, may also be processed internationally. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their processing.

Practice work on your device and in your account

The site saves quiz answers, mastery and review choices, lesson notes, checklists, display choices, navigation history and a team label so you can continue practice. Signed-out practice can save this information in your browser. When signed in, registered lesson records are associated with your account and selected profile and saved to the cloud service. Pending changes can stay in the current browser tab while offline or until the service acknowledges them.

Practice Planner plans and conflict copies stay on the device, even when associated with a signed-in account or profile. They are separate from cloud lesson records. Browser-held account and profile markers help keep the right person's work separate. Switching account or profile does not turn device records into cloud records.

Children and parent controls

Child account use requires parent controls. Child data collection through Account has not been enabled. Public visits can still involve hosting and security processing, and browser-held practice work may be saved on the device.

Child account sessions are limited to their selected profile. Personal-account device and file imports are not available in child mode. Permitted shared progress summaries contain practice counts rather than raw notes. Parents can ask to review or delete information associated with a child profile, or to stop further account collection and use, using the contact below.

Cookies and cloud records

Sign-in uses secure cookies that browser scripts cannot read. The Baseball session cookie, __Host-baseball_session, lasts up to 24 hours, limited by account authorization expiry. Login and child-launch transaction cookies, __Host-baseball_login and __Host-baseball_child, last up to ten minutes and are cleared when their transactions complete. Sign-out clears the session cookie.

The cloud service stores account/profile identifiers, authorization and session information, lesson values and revisions, change/import receipts and note authorship. Expired sessions, transactions and rate-limit records have scheduled cleanup. Saved lesson records and receipts have no fixed automatic deletion schedule. Deleting active cloud records may leave recoverable provider backup history for a limited period.

Keeping and removing saved work

Browser saves have no automatic time-based expiry. They remain until managed through relevant product controls or removed from browser storage, subject to storage availability. Pending tab changes can remain while offline or access is interrupted. Use backup, import preview and plan/copy controls to manage work you want to keep or remove.

A cloud account export or deletion does not automatically include browser-held lesson copies, device plans, pending tab changes, isolation markers or downloaded files. Those copies require the relevant device controls. Closing the site, signing out or opening Privacy preferences does not delete every saved copy.

Hosting, other services and email

We use Cloudflare to host and deliver pages and assets, support the cloud service and help protect it from malicious traffic. Cloudflare processes network and request information, which can include IP addresses and traffic information. Account sign-in and requested API operations also process information needed for those features. Hosting and security processing continues when optional analytics is disabled. Hosting, security and recovery records follow the provider's applicable service policies and operational or legal retention needs; there is no single retention period stated here for all those records.

Privacy-request emails are received in Gmail and retained until manually deleted. There is currently no fixed retention period for these emails. Deleting an email normally moves it to Gmail's Trash, where it remains recoverable for up to 30 days unless permanently deleted sooner.

We do not currently use this site's information for promotional campaigns, sell it or share it for targeted advertising. Service providers still process information for the services described here. Other websites you visit have their own privacy practices.

Privacy Preferences

Where enabled for this site, Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a JavaScript beacon that can send page-use and performance measurements to Cloudflare. Cloudflare documents measurements such as page views, page paths, referring sites, country, browser and device type. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and its data dimensions.

Cloudflare says this product does not use cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics and does not fingerprint visitors for displaying analytics. This describes the analytics product; the site storage and hosting/security processing explained in this notice remain separate. See Cloudflare's description.

Cloudflare documents seven days of unsampled beacon data followed by sampled storage, and access to the previous six months of data. These are not promises that all analytics data or provider backups are deleted after six months. We have not established a complete deletion period for those records. See Cloudflare's analytics FAQ.

Privacy preferences does not change how this site handles Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. This panel offers no analytics switch.

Privacy preferences provides information and does not turn analytics on or off or record a tracking choice. It does not change your account, profile, notes, plans or pending work. Other sites have separate settings. Contact privacy@goultergroup.com about analytics or a privacy request.

Questions and requests

Email privacy@goultergroup.com to ask about your information, request a copy, correction or deletion, or make a parent request. Identify Baseball Training Academy and the request you want to make. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Before releasing or changing account information, we may ask for information needed to verify your identity and, for a child profile, your authority to act. We will explain what information the response covers and any information we cannot provide or remove. Device-only work cannot be removed by a cloud account request; we can explain the relevant device controls.
