Choose the actual program
Use the Dugout assigned by your team. If placement is uncertain, ask your league. Appearance and field size do not establish eligibility; AA and AAA are draft placements rather than universal fixed age bands.

Ask what they noticed, let them explain a decision, and use one cue agreed with the coach. Original answers, later review results and self-marked skills describe different things; none certifies ability.
Start with discussing a play. A supervised no-ball rehearsal needs a dry, clear area and room for full arm reach. Do not improvise indoor batting, add throwing volume or continue through pain or fatigue.
Before activity
Open the full drill for its adult, equipment, helmet, lane and stop requirements. An image or short cue does not replace them. Put bats down and stop throws before collecting balls.

- Inning
- A turn through both teams’ halves; the game’s adopted rules determine its scheduled length.
- Force
- A runner must advance because the batter became a runner; recheck when that force is removed.
- Tag
- Touching a runner with securely held ball or glove holding the ball; whether an out applies depends on the play.
- Cutoff / relay
- A defender receives or redirects a throw toward a chosen target; teammates communicate and cover the destination.
- Backup
- A teammate positioned beyond the receiving target to help contain an overthrown or missed ball.
